Clickframe in Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps
Clickframe works inside your AI assistant. Ask Claude or ChatGPT for thumbnail ideas for your next video, render the one you like, change the expression, check the spelling of the headline, or score your current thumbnail, without leaving the chat. It uses the open Model Context Protocol (MCP), so it works in any app that supports MCP connectors.

Every image comes back with a link to open it in Clickframe's editor, where you can change the text, fonts and layout for free.
Claude (web, desktop and mobile)
- Open Customize → Connectors and click Add custom connector.
- Paste

- In a chat, turn Clickframe on from the + menu under Connectors, then ask for a thumbnail.
Custom connectors work on every Claude plan (one on the Free plan). On Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds the connector for the organization, then each member clicks Connect.
Claude Code

Then run /mcp in Claude Code, choose clickframe and sign in in the browser window that opens.
ChatGPT
- Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT's settings (under Apps & Connectors, in the advanced settings; OpenAI moves this setting from time to time, and which plans have it is up to OpenAI).
- Create a new app or connector named Clickframe, with

Privacy and control
- The app connects with OAuth: you sign in on Clickframe's own page and see which app is asking and where you'll be sent back.
- See and disconnect connected apps any time under Account; their access stops at once.
- Clickframe receives what you ask the tools to do (for example a video title), never your chat history. See the privacy policy.
FAQ
Does it cost extra to use Clickframe from Claude or ChatGPT?
No. The connector is free; images use your normal Clickframe credits (1 credit per image or AI edit), and concepts, titles and scores are free, exactly as in the app.
Can the AI spend my credits without asking?
Each image costs a credit, and the tools say so, so assistants usually ask before making one. Claude and ChatGPT also let you approve tool calls. You can disconnect the app at any time under Account in Clickframe.
What does the AI app get access to?
Only what the tools do: your projects, images, personas and credit balance, and making, editing and scoring thumbnails. It never sees your password or payment details and can't delete anything. The connection uses OAuth: the app gets a token that lasts an hour and is refreshed while you stay connected.
Which apps work?
Any app that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth: Claude (web, desktop and mobile), Claude Code, ChatGPT with developer mode, Cursor, VS Code and others.
