vidIQ's free plan includes 150 AI credits a month, and in our test a thumbnail cost 22 credits, so about six thumbnails or edits a month, downloadable without a watermark.
Do vidIQ and Clickframe use the same image model?
Both use Google's image models: in our test, vidIQ's raw image file was labelled “Made with Google AI” in its metadata, and Clickframe uses Google's Gemini image model. The difference is the workflow around it.
Can I use both?
Yes. Many creators use vidIQ for research and a dedicated tool for the thumbnail itself. Clickframe's free tools (feed preview, checker, title generator) need no account.
